Who do you call when a woman has said or done something that totally
pisses you off?
You know...those times when she makes a comment or a judgment about you that feels like a knife in the gut.
It's that accusation or "joking" criticism which has a poison tip.
And that poison causes your nostrils to flare with anger...ready to defend yourself or return hostile fire.
What's really going on here?
You don't feel like you're good enough.
And that's just about the
shittiest feeling any human can have.
When we feel inadequate, unworthy, unvalued or unappreciated it can trigger our boyhood insecurities so quickly we REACT like a "bouncing betty" land mine.
Once the explosion goes
off...you're done. There's no recovery.
But, what if you had a trusted friend - or group of friends to touch base with first?
What if you delayed the explosion and took a deep breath to reset
yourself?
What if you reset your THOUGHTS and immediately felt more confidence instead of defensiveness?
What if you
had the perfect response to the criticism that would have otherwise destroyed you?
In this video, I coach my associate, Dan Dore, through a real-life situation he had recently with his wife.
