How to Become a Calm, Relaxed Man Who Gets Everything He Wants

Published: Sun, 02/26/17

Hey,

I recently got a call from a guy I’ll call “Dave”.

He’s a terrific guy.  Works his butt off, makes good money and is wicked smart.  He’s logical, tactical and focused on his business.  He gets things done.

But he’s got a secret that’s bugging the hell out of him.

Dave is pissed off…a lot.

It’s not always the outward, raging, scary type of anger.

Often it’s a low grade, simmering, agitated type of anger.  He’s unsettled and seldom relaxed.  Things at work feel chaotic.  And his home life feels like a downward spiral with waning affection, trust, respect and sex.

He can fly off the handle at the slightest annoyances…including judgment and criticism from his wife.

It’s unpredictable.  Usually he doesn’t even see it coming until it’s too late.  And that pisses him off even more because he hates being that way.

But he’s stuck and doesn’t know what to do.  He wants to fix it before it ruins everything in his relationship and his business.  He wants to figure it out before everyone else starts to notice his unhappiness.

Guess what?

Everyone else already knows.

Dave doesn’t realize that his anger and unhappiness has adversely affected every single interaction he’s had over the last year.  It’s changed the way he treats employees and has caused him to repel a number of ideal customers.

And his wife and kids have felt his smoldering anger like it was a red hot poker.  They avoid him, pick fights with him and reject him as a reaction to his intimidating nature.

He told me, “I need to figure out how to show up and be the husband and father with wife and kids need.”

I said, “No, you don’t. Screw them.”

What do you mean?” he said.

I told Dave, “The reason everything feels stuck and nothing seems to be getting better even though you’re putting in more and more effort is because you have no direction. You’ve been wandering aimlessly trying to please each person in your life and it’s not working!”

“You need to create a vision of the man you want to be. One which isn’t based on other people’s needs.  You have to know what you want from life - no excuses, this life is your one chance. Then you’ll know exactly where you’re going and can move forward with how you plan to get there. ”

“You have to be bold and decide that you want to make powerful changes to your life.  Change won’t just happen, you make the changes. Otherwise you'll always feel like a victim of everyone else’s choices and decisions."

That switched something on in Dave’s mind and he asked me to help him define a new direction for his life.

Do you ever feel like Dave?

Are you trying to please everyone and finding that your intimate relationship is becoming more distant? Less connected?

Do you know your core life values? Do you live your life with passion and enthusiasm?

If you don’t have your direction down, everyone knows. Your wife and kids test you on it all the time.

They need to feel you’ve got it down. That you’re always there for them, showing them what it means to live life without a filter on who you are.

And with that approach you’ll experience so much joy, happiness, connection and kindness from all the interactions you have with others every day. I promise you. I see it every day with the clients I work with.

This is exactly the life that’s waiting for you.  Most men are afraid of it.  Sounds like too much work.

They don’t want the responsibility or accountability to start living from a road map that THEY create and own.  It’s easier to blame everyone else for what’s going wrong.

I have a feeling that’s not you.  You wouldn’t be on this email list if that stuff scared you.

That’s why I’m inviting you to be part of an amazing 4 day – 3 night journey with me in April

I’ve designed an incredibly relaxing and highly experiential event for 10 men only!  (Three guys have already signed up as of yesterday)

I'll be teaching you how to show strong, calm leadership with horses and how this skill will change the rest of your life.  Your experiences at this ranch retreat will be a foundation for learning internal and external leadership skills.

This gives you powerful “whispering” skills during times on conflict, chaos and arguments. It' not about control - it's about calm, relaxed leadership.

Your confidence grows in dealing with the fear and anger that makes you overreact in ways you’re not proud of.  Instead, you become calm, deliberate and pleased in your strong, masculine frame.

This is what causes a major shift in your influence on everyone else!  Including the woman in your life.

This is The Confident Leader Men’s Retreat taking place in Colorado on April 27-30, 2017 at the Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch in Loveland, Colorado.

This is an all-inclusive destination retreat created to allow you to show up with jeans, boots and a toothbrush.

Even before I put a web page out to the public and advertise this event, I’m giving you a chance to reserve a spot at the “Man of Action” pricing.

I've reserved our spot at the Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch (Colorado) for:

April 27, 28, 29 and 30, 2017

Click on the link above to see how amazing this place is.

You will check in on Thursday afternoon and check out on Sunday late morning.

The regular investment is  $2397.00

The Man of Action price is $1997.00
(this price is good until midnight on March 4, 2017)

This is an investment in yourself and your future - not just an excuse to relax, laugh, eat and drink around a campfire.  But those are pretty good reasons to come too!

I want you to join  me and 9 other men for a weekend you won't forget.

Is it weird to go on a "Men's Retreat" with a bunch of other dudes?

What's weird is that you haven't done this in your life yet.  This is what permanently changes your direction in life.  No girls allowed.

Here are some comments from men who attended my last retreat:

"I loved the authentic participation of everyone and the real trust we built.  I also liked the balance between scheduled activities and the free-flowing interaction of the guys."

"The raw honesty everyone shared was awesome.  I liked hearing everyone's stories - I didn't feel alone in my problems.  I liked being challenged with tough questions and working through them together."

"There were so many great ideas exchanged that I took home a whole new perspective on the way I've been thinking and behaving."

I absolutely love doing these retreats because I also learn and grow along with  you.  I really hope to see you there and to spend some quality time together.

Hit REPLY to this email if you want to reserve your spot now and I'll will lock you in at the lower price.  Feel free to shoot me any questions you've got and I'll reply pronto.

More information will be coming soon.

I made a quick video below to explain more about the horse stuff and why they are so useful at figuring out the question, "Who do I want to be?".

Lotta love, brother,
Steve

P.S.  For out of state guys, you will be flying into Denver (DEN) and driving about 1.5 hrs. north to the Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch.
