I wrote an article this week about men who rock it in their business or career but still struggle in their relationship at home. I'll put that article below for you.
It's frustrating as hell to feel like you've got gobs of confidence and competence everywhere except at home. You easily get appreciation and respect from everyone - except the woman you most want to notice you.
Why is that?
I think it's because at work our self-confidence is the result of mastering what we know and what we do to earn money. And others are happy to recognize and appreciate our brains, talents and
charm. Our confidence is irresistibly magnetic and trustworthy.
And those are probably the things that first got your lady's attention. But when it comes to creating and sustaining romantic love - your brains, talents and charm carry very little weight.
She doesn't give a crap about what you know or what you do.
She is most affected, most impressed and most attracted to who you are BEING.
Attractive masculinity in her eyes isn't about what you've mastered in your mind or with your hands. It's about how you show up in her presence. It's about how present you are with her.
It's about how she feels seen, heard and understood by
you.
It's about how you make decisions and how you create an environment in which she can feel relaxed, feminine and playful. It's about how you respond to stress or conflict. It's about how you lead her toward intimacy without strings attached.
And that stuff isn't created from your brilliant mind. It's created from your connected heart.
It's not what you're doing - it's who you are being when you do it.
That's what women are really attracted to.
A guy who knows the difference.
Take me, for example.
I used to think the being able to cut down trees, fix cars and be a great handyman should be enough.
I thought just DOING those things earned me the right to expect appreciation, love and sex. The guy I was being as I did those things was essentially a 15 year old boy. Do this so I can get that. Then get
mad when my plan didn't work.
I made the video below to talk more about why chainsaws are not the way to attractive manhood.
