Why You Shouldn't Serve Beer at Your Men's Retreat

Published: Sun, 08/21/16

Hey,

What do you get when you mix good men with good conversation, good food, good beer, the great outdoors and a little bit of fire?

A shit ton of fun - that's what.

The August men's retreat at my place yesterday was fantastic and we ended the night with fire and a few brews.

Why would any guy want to do this?

I decided to ask them on video after a couple of beers.

Take a look.

We talked about our next 30 years.

We talked about the life we expect to lead and the relationships we plan to create.

We talked about marriage and whether to save it or not.

Here's my latest article on that topic, by the way.

We worked on our "stories" of why things seem so hard and the fears we face in changing them.

Then we worked on the challenge of changing all that.  We dug into what it takes for a man to make decisions and create what he wants with uncertainty looming over his head.

This is what men do.  We challenge each other, support each other and push each other.

Brotherly love.

Want some?

Stay tuned for the next retreat date.

Or you can do something even more courageous.

I know how nervous you are about speaking up and reaching out.  I was too.

It's the single biggest reasons men die lonely and pissing on themselves in nursing homes.

We need to build close relationships with other men.

We're not in competition brother.  We're in this together.

If you want to test the waters of your first powerful conversation about your present and your future, I'd love to speak with you.

No money required - no pressure - just conversation.

Lotta love, brother,
