Here’s the deal. Short and sweet.
Here’s what I want.
- To meet you in person and buy you a beer

spike in your mojo by hanging out with other sensitive, serious and bad-ass men.
I emailed Alex to ask if he would have a problem with me coming (a competitor?) and inviting men who are on my email list. (no, I get no
kickback)
A few years ago a mentor of mine sent me a scathing email (apparently I’m going to hell) for “stealing” his information to start Goodguys2Greatmen and to help other men. He’s still an amazing human being to me, but a little
confused about how we’re all in this together.
So, I was a little gun shy and emailed Alex about my coming. This is what he said:
First off Steve, of course I remember you. We are brothers in arms.
Second, I would be
honored if you attended and even more honored if came to “steal” something! We’re on the same team. If I’ve got something that works for one of your clients in need, I’d expect you’d use it without hesitation (I would). And you are always welcome to reprint any idea I have with a simple, “my friend Alex Allman says…” Again, it would never occur to me to hesitate in quoting you.
In any case, I’m a big “yes” to all of it and would love to meet you and to have you meet Nathan as well.

This is the kind of mentor I want. I respect Alex and his work and his abundant perspective. I won’t tell you he’s a “good friend of mine” because that would be a lie. But I’m drawn to his authentic energy
and his credibility. And I’d like to earn his friendship.

from several dining options, it is possible to avoid renting a car if you'd prefer to cab from PHX (Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport) to the hotel. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and we will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday morning. There will be a cocktail reception following the closing ceremony on Sunday at 7:00 p.m., so please plan your travel accordingly. * This training is not going to be passive.
