Santa Clause: Great Man or Big Fat Wimp?

Published: Wed, 12/24/14

At first glance, Santa looks like a big pushover.  Don’t be fooled by the Ho, Ho, Ho’s….

Santa’s got it going on.  He’s a man’s man.  A role model, I think.

Why?

Here’s my reasoning.

Focused and Purpose Driven

His passion and life purpose are crystal clear.  He knows exactly what he wants to do and he spends all year pursuing that goal.  He doesn’t get distracted and he stays motivated to follow through.  Of course, he’s got all those dang elves helping him.  And not to mention Mrs. Clause who is - no doubt - a major force in the operation.

Non-Negotiable Values

You know that whole Naughty and Nice list?  He doesn’t play games.  He knows exactly who deserves to receive his gifts and who doesn’t.  He isn’t a jerk about it. His heart is always open, loving, respectful, and considerate.  But he makes no apology for excluding those who don’t want those things.

He Gives Without Conditions

His purpose is to love, inspire, and give to those who want to share in the Christmas spirit with him.  His gifts have no strings.  He appreciates the milk and cookies but never expects them.  That’s why he ends up with more goodies than any man can handle.

He Cherishes Mrs. Clause

Santa wouldn’t be the man he is today without the love, support, and inspiration from Mrs. Clause.  He respects her and cherishes the energy she brings to his life and purpose.  And she feels the same way about him.  It’s that mutual appreciation that's kept the fire burning all these years.

*****************

I’ve been blessed this year in so many ways.  The great men and women I’ve met have inspired me to keep going.  They’ve motivated me to want to work harder, learn more, and be better.  It’s been an honor to have served so many wonderful people.

Thank you.

When it comes to relationships there is a lot of pleasure and a lot of pain involved.  Many of you have rekindled a loving relationship with your partner in 2014.

Others have found an amazing new relationship and are spending their first Christmas together with someone who cherishes them.

And while others may not have a romantic partner over the holidays, they have a whole new relationship with themselves – which is the most important one.  There is no substitute for feeling confidence and peace within yourself and knowing you can create what you want.

That’s what I wish for everyone in 2015.

I wish you the peace of mind and confidence that comes with discovering that you can create the life and love you desire.

You’re worth it.  You deserve it.

Happy Holidays and tons love to you!
