Hi Guys and Gals,
It was a slow Sunday yesterday and I came across an article on "marriage statistics" from the US Census Bureau. Isn't that what YOU normally do on a Sunday?
I had fun too - promise. But the article got me thinking.
The fact that 2nd and 3rd marriage divorce rates get progressively WORSE for us means something.
It could mean that we're not very quick learners.
It could also mean that we're a bad judge of long-term partners.
It could also mean we REALLY LIKE the first few years of marriage and simply choose to repeat it more quickly each time!

I know that it ALWAYS take two to tango and to make a marriage last. Neither partner is off-the-hook for playing their part. You also know that I can be tougher on the guys than the gals when it comes to taking charge of the departments of fun, romance, and good feelings.
The article talks about the fact that most women know LONG in advance that they will be leaving the marriage. I know - this sucks. Their communication skills can be as horrible as legend has portrayed OUR skills.
This is why asking, "Is everything ok, honey?" is one of the world's worst questions. It's tough to get a straight answer. Men need to learn to already KNOW what the answer is without asking. The answer is almost always in what can be seen, not heard. Of course with us, "fine" actually means "fine".
