Before I get to the ONE THING, I want you to know about a special FREE community event coming up this Thursday at 1:00pm MST.
In fact, the one thing I want to share is related to this event.
Best selling author, speaker and educator, Alison Armstrong is joining the GG2GM community for this special FREE open session.
Alison's books, videos and audio workshops have been a key part of the GG2GM coaching process for over a decade. And she's going to be with us for 90 minutes on Thursday to share her insights, her humor and heart warming grace.
You can tell how much I like and respect her.
This will be an fun time and a very crowded Zoom event. I hope you can make it LIVE with us. She has asked to see some questions in advance, so if you have something on your mind, hit reply now and tell me so I can pass it
on.

Now, about that ONE CRUCIAL THING your dad never told you about.
Have you ever gotten frustrated with your wife when she seems scatter-brained, unfocused or just doesn't seem to "get to the point"?
Yeah, that's a thing. In fact, that's THE thing nobody talks about much.
In a world where we're supposed to act like "everyone is equal", we fail to acknowledge that men and women are NOT the same.
And when it comes to how our brains work, you may have noticed that she doesn't typically process information and data like you.
Specifically in the context of a committed, romantic relationship (your marriage) the differences can be quite stark and problematic.
Alison Armstrong calls this "Diffuse Awareness".
And it's a special feature (not a bug) of the feminine mind. Everything in her head is connected to everything. This is why her stories may go off in unexpected directions sometimes.
Your wife has a skill which can even be annoying to her. She notices everything around her. Her unfinished list of to-do's plays like a broken record in her
head. Dirty clothes actual "yell" at her from across the room just as loudly as your 5 year old.
Diffuse Awareness is both a very special advantage and, at times, an aggravating handicap.
The same is true for
YOU.
But your special advantage and occasional handicap is called "Singular Focus". Men typically have a strong ability to give their attention to just ONE thing at a time. While this is a great advantage in many areas of your life, it can cause you to miss a lot of other important "relationship data" going on around you.
It's why many of us are told "we hear but don't listen" or "we aren't present".
So, what are you supposed to DO with this information?? Like any good man, you would like me to get to the friggin' point and tell you how to use this new insight.
I decided to make a short video for you about that. Check it out.
