Is Comparing Women to Horses Offensive to You?

Hey brother,

For the last 11 years I've been helping men understand women by helping them understand a little bit about horses.

At first glace, comparing a human to an animal might look - as some women have told me - a little "heavy handed".

But when they hear me out (as in the video below), they normally say, "Oh...I get it...that's okay...I kind of like the way you put it."

You see, since most people have an instant bias toward negativity, they just assume I would take the most annoying traits of a horse and tell men they need to learn how to deal with those annoyances.

Yeah, that's not the point.

The real point is...when you learn how to see deeper into a woman's natural sensitivity, vulnerability and fear, your experience of being in a relationship becomes much easier and much more enjoyable!

For the record, I'm not offended at all when women call men "dogs".

Hell, I agree.

Talk to me sweetly, rub my belly and tell me I'm a good boy once in a while and I am putty in your hands!

Dogs love affection, touch and genuine, enthusiastic appreciation. Feed a man THAT and he will follow you anywhere.

And so it is with horses.

Horses love to feel safe, secure and respected for who they are.

Horses feel the pressure of harm, danger, disrespect, anxiety and anger as easily as they can detect a fly landing on a single hair on their butt.

And women have the same innate ability to sense those things with men. Yes...even their husbands.

Many of us have said the following stupid phrase. I've said it more than once when I was learning this stuff.

"How could she possibly feel afraid or unsafe with me?! I've never laid a hand on her!"

For men, physical harm is the bar we set for feeling "afraid" of another person in our presence.

I also know that WITH YOUR WIFE...and only with her...you frequently feel the fear of emotional harm.

Her sometimes distant, dismissive, critical and cold response can cut an emotional wound in you that won't heal.
