Precisely How You (and I) Will Screw up 2024 If We're Not Very Careful

Hey brother,

Last night I made this video for you...and me.

Mostly for me...but I'm inviting you to come along with my personal wish for an amazing 2024.

You see, most people are dreading this year for various reasons.

And almost all of those reasons have something to do with things over which they have ZERO CONTROL.

I want better. I want YOU to want better.

Let's assume we're going to die on New Year's Eve - 12/31/24.

Yeah, that's a little dark. But let's have fun. Let's assume for a minute that we've got less than 12 months left to have the most incredible year of our lives.

What's your next move?

Here's what I'm going to try. I have total control over THIS.

This is How I'll Screw Up 2024...what about you?

Here's My Plan

Just so you don't have to take notes during the video, here is my 2024 plan.

Connection with others instead of competition against others
Eye contact and nothing but enthusiastic, firm handshakes
Be the first one to initiate ANYTHING I really want to do or have
Be present - treat others like they are the only ones in the room
Be more interested in others than trying to be interesting
Notice what is going RIGHT instead of what I THINK is wrong
Focus on what I want to CREATE instead of worrying about what I don't want or don't have
Live each day this year AS IF I know my last day alive is 12/31/24

Here's How I Might Screw It Up

If I can stay aware and stay awake, I just might avoid these common traps...on most days.

Getting sucked into stupid fights, arguments, debates and conversations
Trying to win or be right instead of simply understanding
Seeing love, romance and sex as a limited resource or worse...a competition
Overly focused on what I'm DOING instead of how I'm BEING
My old bad habits I hate will triumph over the new habits I want
I will forget how much damn power I have in my desire, my focus, my intention and my commitment to tiny consistent steps toward what I want to create

So there you have it. A Goodguys2Greatmen plan to live like you were dying.

It's a 2024 plan that can't fail, unless of course we screw it up.

Let's not do that.

Let's not let 2024 "happen to us"...let's "happen to 2024".
